Hello everyone! So, the past few months have been crazy for me, hence the lack of updates on this blog *insert sad face*. I have been potty training my toddler and dealing with a newborn baby, alongside preparing for Christmas and moving house. It has been chaotic to say the least.
Now that Christmas is over, I am happy to say that this blog will be updated more often and will be jam packed with things, if my boys give me chance!

My three year old son is addicted to Minions. He can't get enough of them, therefore for Christmas I wanted to make one for him that no one else would have. Back in August, I started my search for the perfect pattern, and it wasn't easy to find one as I wanted something amazing.
Wandering around Pinterest, I came across the most amazing looking pattern that was exactly what I needed, and I proceeded to make my Minion with yarn that I already had in my stash.
I found the pattern at AmigurumisFanClub and luckily, the English instructions are right at the bottom!

I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn in citron, aster, silver, black and white, and I made his eyes from small pieces of black and brown felt.

The only things I changed in the pattern were the way the eyes were created, and the hair design. I opted for felt eyes as I am terrible at embroidery, and I chose three flat stripes of hair to prevent my son from pulling at it and ruining it.
What do you think? Would you like to make a Minion?
