Baymax Amigurumi Pattern

My little boy is a HUGE fan of Baymax (or Maybax as he calls him), so I set myself a goal to make him a crochet stuffed toy of his own for him to huggle. I decided, due to his sheer size, that I should use chunky yarn and a larger-than-normal hook than I would normally use for ami creations.

I adore him. I think he looks amazing and squishy and yummy. And of course, my little man hasn't put him down since I gave Maybax to him.

I had no safety eyes left, and I had no stuffing (typical!), so his eyes are made of felt that took me ages to get perfectly circular, and his little tummy is stuffed with some spare stuffing from an amigurumi elephant that I attempted months ago.

The pattern I used was from the awesome Kara at K Hook Creations (https://khookcreations.wordpress.com/2015/03/21/baymax-amigurumi-pattern/), I used a 4.5mm hook, and I used Cygnet chunky yarn that I purchased from EBay a while back, I think it cost me around £2.50.

Let me know what you think! I may even try him in SUPER CHUNKY next time. I want one for myself!

Happy Hooking
